The Flying Colours Curriculum

A Spiral K1-K3 Story-Based Curriculum, with a Systematic Phonics and Reading Programme

Flying Colours Curriculum is designed with Hong Kong public kindergartens in mind. Based on the class size, student ability, and teaching schedule, schools can choose what suits their students best. Most importantly, ongoing teacher training and class observations go hand-in-hand with our systematic curriculum, which includes our unique Phonics and Reading Programme.

For schools interested in implementing the Flying Colours Curriculum in September, please contact us in January for proper planning and training.

  • Encompasses learning domains specified in the EDB curriculum guide
  • Includes detailed lesson plans, songs and rhymes, teaching props and more
  • Each storybook comes with a customised Student Activity Booklet
  • An original curriculum that combines Phonics with a Reading Program to enhance children’s reading skills

Workshops and Talks

Teacher training is an integral part of our service to schools that implement the Flying Colours Curriculum. For other organisations that are interested in workshops for teacher development purposes, please discuss your needs with us. We specialise in the areas of English storytelling, curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management strategies.

Parent Education is essential to children’s wholesome development and learning success. Other than introducing the Flying Colours curriculum to parents of schools that adopt our curriculum, we can also provide parent talks on other topics. Some topics include how to nurture an interest in reading, how to read to young children, the basics of phonics, and English learning games to play at home.
